Front Range Community College students have access to more than $8 million in financial aid for the fall semester, thanks to funding from the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.
Students can get awards ranging from $250 to $1,000 apiece, depending on their need, according to a Front Range Community College news release.
“We know that the COVID pandemic has had a significant impact on many of our students,” FRCC President Andy Dorsey said in the news release. “We’re very glad to be able to provide students this assistance as they begin — or continue — their education.”
Students who are registered for fall 2021 classes will be automatically considered for the aid. No additional application is necessary to be considered for the grants, the news release states.
However, if a student has not already completed one of two financial aid forms, the college encourages them to fill them out as soon as possible.
