LONGMONT (Jan. 3, 2018) -- A baby girl born at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday was the first baby born in 2018 at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont.
Raegan Conner is the daughter of Jessica and Logan Conner of Windsor. She weighed in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measured 20.75 inches.
On Wednesday morning, physicians and staff presented her proud parents with a red wagon filled with a wonderful selection of baby goodies, including a gift card to Wal-Mart, two stuffed animals, a layette, onesies, Fisher Price learning toys, a UCHealth swaddle wrap, UCHealth water bottles, a family picture frame, lotion, lip balm, baby slippers, sun shades for the car and books from Barbed Wire Books. The wagon is a gift from physicians, staff and friends of the hospital and coordinated by the Longs Peak Hospital Foundation.
A total of 204 babies were born in 2017 at Longs Peak Hospital, which officially opened its doors on Aug. 31.
