Gianella Martinez was the first baby born at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont in 2024.
The baby girl was born at 2:06 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs, 2 oz and was 19 inches long.
She was born to Briana and Javier Martinez of Mead.
The Martinez family received a wagon full of baby goodies from the hospital, spokesperson Randi Freeman said in an email.
The family was not available for an interview.
In 2023, 875 babies were born at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital.
