Around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, a robbery took place at Flatirons Family Pharmacy, located at 603 Ken Pratt Blvd.
The suspect, a Loveland resident, allegedly demanded "oxy" from the store employee, who believed the suspect to be armed. The employee gave the "oxy" to the suspect, who then fled the store.
Several witnesses followed the suspect until Longmont Police Officers were able to locate the suspect.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked at the Longmont Police Department. A handgun and the stolen property were recovered from the suspect.
According to Commander Joel Post of the Longmont Police Department, the suspect "at a minimum, will be charged with aggravated robbery and theft."
