The Longmont campus of Front Range Community College is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination event Thursday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school’s Student Commons on 2121 Miller Drive.

Similar events are being held at FRCC’s campuses in Fort Collins and Westminster. Vaccinations will be available in Fort Collins on Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Longs Peak Student Center, 4616 S. Shields St.

The Westminster campus event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 26 from 9 .m. to 2 p.m., at the Rocky Mountain Room, Entrance 3, 3645 W. 112th Ave., according to a FRCC news release.

The COVID-19 vaccine will be available at no cost at each of FRCC’s three campuses. Appointments and walks up are both welcome, the news release states.

“As students come back to classrooms this is a critical time to make sure they’re protected against the virus and its variants,” FRCC President Andy Dorsey, said in the news release. “Getting vaccinated can help them keep their classmates and teachers safe as well.”

The Longmont and Westminster campus vaccine clinics are being offered in partnership with TrueCare24 and The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment — to support the state’s Vaccines for All initiative, the news release states.

Pfizer (two doses for ages 12 and above) or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen (single dose for ages 18 and above) are offered at all three FRCC locations.

“For anyone who is ready to get vaccinated, the campus vaccine clinics are a quick and easy way to protect yourself and everyone around you,” Dorsey said.
