Front Range Community College is hosting more COVID-19 vaccination events this month at the school’s locations in Fort Collins, Longmont, Brighton and Westminster, according to a FRCC news release.

The free FDA-approved Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is available at FRCC’s Boulder County Campus, 2121 Miller Dr, at the Student Commons on Wednesday, Sept. 8 and 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the new release states.

“Now that we have students back in classrooms for fall semester, it’s important to make sure everyone who wants the vaccine can get it,” said FRCC President Andy Dorsey in the news release. “These clinics provide a quick and easy way for our students and people in our communities to protect themselves against the virus and its variants.”

No appointment is necessary and walk ups are welcome, the news release states. No ID or insurance is required to get vaccinated and the clinics are open to the general public.

Vaccines are also available at FRCC’s Brighton Center at 1850 E. Egbert Street in Brighton on Sept. 8 and 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Vaccines are available at FRCC’s Larimer Campus, 4616 S. Shields Street in Fort Collins and the school’s Westminster campus, 3645 W. 112th Ave. on Sept. 9 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the press release states.

FRCC is encouraging its students, employees and the general public to get vaccinated as a way to return to normal campus and community life as the COVID pandemic lingers, the news release said.

“The COVID vaccine is one way we can keep our families and those most vulnerable in our community healthy,” Dorsey said. “It’s safe and effective - and is an important way to protect yourself and everyone around you.”
