Ghouls, goblins and ghosts will haunt Main Street Saturday morning

Everyone is invited to walk in the parade.

Longmont's annual Halloween Parade is a go this year and all are invited to join in.

Everyone who would like to walk in the parade is encouraged to dress up and line up at Roosevelt Park at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The march down Main Street will begin at 10 a.m.

Participants will follow the route from Roosevelt Park along Longs Peak Avenue turning right on Main Street. The parade will make a U-turn at Third Avenue and end back at Roosevelt Park.

Some local businesses along Main Street will host a Trick-or-treating.

Travelers in the area should watch for road closures in the area. These areas include

  • Main Street from Third Avenue to Longs Peak Avenue
  • Main Street from Longs Peak Avenue to Ninth Avenue
    • Southbound Main Street will be detoured at Ninth Avenue.
    • Northbound Main Street will be available north of Longs Peak Avenue
  • Longs Peak Avenue from Pratt Street to Main Street
  • Coffman Street from Longs Peak to Eighth Avenue

Road closures will end around 11:30 a.m.
