The Governor’s Office of Information Technology, or OIT, and the Colorado Broadband Office, or CBO, are asking Colorado residents for guidance in gaps in broadband access.

Earlier this year, Gov. Jared Polis and state lawmakers charged OIT and CBO with creating a strategic plan to speed up fair, reliable, and user-friendly delivery of digital and broadband services to residents, and businesses.

The first step in reaching this goal is to assess opportunities and obstacles in expanding broadband across the state. To do so, an evaluation of the current state of the network must be made to help identify gaps in broadband access and engage a broad and diverse set of stakeholders, particularly those with  experience working with marginalized communities and residents.

OIT and CBO are asking residents to complete a survey that takes 5 to 10 minutes. The first survey is for those who work with marginalized communities, CO Organizations Survey. The second survey is for Colorado residents, CO Local Government Survey.
