High school students invited to design “Get Out and Vote” posters

The League of Women Voters is asking high school students to participate in an art design challenge that will be used to inspire voters to show up at the polls on Election Day in 2024.

Students in the St. Vrain Valley or Boulder Valley school districts, private high school students of homeschooled students in Boulder County are eligible to participate in the contest.

Those who choose to participate need to submit one design for each of the three categories: stickers (either 2-inch circles or squares or 2 x 1.5 inches oval), bumper stickers (10 x 2.5 inches) and posters (11 x 17 inches or 18 x 24 inches). Designs must include the League of Women Voters logo and remain nonpartisan.

Winning entries will express the message that voting is important and inspire people to want to get out and vote. Artwork will be displayed throughout the county. Prizes will be available for finalists and semi-finalists.

Applications are due by Jan. 15.
