Hiker injured on the Mallory Cave Trail

The 47-year-old female from Boulder was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment

On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at approximately 4:44 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injured hiker on the Mallory Cave Trail.

City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks Ranger and Rocky Mountain Rescue Group personnel made patient contact within 30 minutes of the initial call. After stabilizing the patient, rescuers moved the patient in a litter to American Medical Response ambulance on Table Mesa Road. The 47-year-old female from Boulder was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The rescue took approximately three and a half hours.

Agencies assisting with the rescue included: American Medical Response, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, and the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group.

The associated Boulder County Sheriff’s Office case number was 22-2169.
