Hiker rescued after fall in Fourmile Canyon Link Trail

The hiker did not experience serious or fatal injuries and was transported to the hospital.

A hiker from Longmont, Colorado fell on the Fourmile Canyon Link Trail at Betasso Preserve. Rescuers were notified at approximately 9:42 a.m. of their fall. 

The hiker had an ankle injury, which rescuers stabilized during the rescue. She was then carried to the ambulance in a litter and transported to a hospital to treat her ankle injury. 

The rescue took approximately an hour. Fourmile Fire and Sunshine Fire, Boulder County Open Space Rangers and members of Rocky Mountain Rescue Group all participated in the rescue effort.
