The Inn Between of Longmont and Sound Bridge Music will host a fundraiser on Sunday, February 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Open Door Brewing Company.
According to a press release sent to the Longmont Observer, the fundraiser was created in order to bring awareness of the escalating homeless situation in Longmont.
The event will be "seen and shared through the eyes of Myrrh de Marmion, who experienced this over the past year, the story of many is told."
Local musicians such as Kevin Dooley, Mad Dog Friedman, Karen Finch, Carrie Faye Thompson, Faith Marie, Myrrh de Marmion, and Peter Garland will be performing live music. The headliner will be Summerland Sun featuring Antonio Lopez and Kyle Donovan.
Throughout the day, a silent auction will be held of art created and donated by LeftHand Artists Group artists. A live auction of hand-painted repurposed doors by LeftHand Artists Group artists will also be held.
Tickets are a minimum $10 donation at the door. Not included in the ticket price are brews by Open Door Brewing Company and food by Barbed Wire Reef Food Truck. The proceeds will go to The Inn Between of Longmont and Sound Bridge Music.
If you are unable to attend the fundraiser but would still like to contribute remotely, you can donate at the Inn Between website or at the Sound Bridge website.
