The Kiwanis Club of Longmont hosts the annual Boulder County Fair Parade which will be held on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. The club invites locals to participate in the parade.
The parade begins at Roosevelt Park and journeys down Main Street. The theme for this year’s fair is Sew Em, Grow Em, Show Em.
The Kiwanis are encouraging locals to line up their floats, bands and horses to participate in the parade. The deadline to enter is July 20. The entry fee is $10 prior to the deadline. Entries after the deadline will be charged an additional $5. Political entries are $25 per unit and an additional $10 per political candidate. Schools, 4-H Clubs, FFA members and fair royalty are free to enter.
To enter, locals are required to fill out a parade entry form and submit it by July 20. Additional information will be provided via email around July 27. Those who require extra space should call 303-817-7382 or email [email protected].
