Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning Thursday on South Pratt Parkway between Boston and Colorado Avenues as crews prepare to demolish the west side of the South Pratt Parkway Bridge. Using an alternate route, such as Main Street, is advised.
Detours along the St. Vrain Greenway will be in place, including the closure of the bridge underpass trail.
Greenway users will be routed over the existing pedestrian bridge east of the South Pratt Parkway Bridge, west along Boston Avenue across South Pratt Parkway and along a
temporary path until they are returned to the greenway. Periodic greenway trail closures should be expected for equipment crossing the path.
This bridge replacement project is estimated to run through September 2018.
