NEWS RELEASE
LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF BOULDER COUNTY
***********************
The League of Women Voters of Boulder County (LWVBC) will conduct five virtual candidate forums during the 2024 primary election season. The forums are an opportunity for Republican, Democratic, and Unaffiliated voters and the general public to learn about the positions of local candidates who are running contested in five state House and state Senate primary contests.

League volunteers encourage the public to visit the LWVBC website and the “Upcoming Events” calendar at lwvbc.org for more details about each candidate forum, including links and deadlines, to submit questions to the candidates (available in both Spanish and English). Community members may view the candidate forums using Zoom or access the live streaming of the events using the LWVBC YouTube channel. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available using the Zoom link listed for each event. Following the live presentations of the forums, LWVBC will post the Spanish and English recordings of each forum on the lwvbc.org website, the LWVBC YouTube Channel, and on VOTE411.org, the League’s online voter’s guide.

As a reminder, the Statewide Primary Election is June 25, 2024. Election officials will begin mailing primary election ballots to all active registered Democrats, Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters on June 3. Unaffiliated voters will receive both the Democratic and Republican primary ballots, but Unaffiliated voters can only vote or return one major party ballot by 7 p.m. on Election Day (June 25).
