As we begin to recover from the wide-ranging effects of the pandemic, our community will need leadership with clarity and vision. Tim Waters will be just such a leader. I have known and admired Tim for many years and have always been impressed by his integrity, intelligence, and vision. Tim has leadership experience as a successful school district superintendent and as CEO of a nationally known, educational services group. Tim’s leadership qualities have more recently been demonstrated in the thoughtful approach he brought to his service as a city council representative for Ward I, where I live. I have every confidence that Tim’s leadership qualities would make him an exceptional mayor for the entire community.
Tim’s willingness to listen to residents and gather a variety of viewpoints before making a decision has always impressed me, as has his commitment to fully understand the facts that are necessary to make informed and insightful decisions. Perhaps what I admire most about Tim is that he transcends petty politics and focuses on issues that matter to all of us. Tim will move the community forward with clarity and vision.
