Letter to the Editor: Former City Council member backs Waters

Waters is a visionary with grounded principals and a born leader with all the tools to steward our City going forward.
In-Person Council 6-29 (12 of 24)
Tim Waters, Ward 1, asks for clarification on a report.

In my over 44 years living in Longmont, I have not come across a more qualified individual to offer their services as Mayor of our City.   Tim Waters, who is currently a City Councilman representing Ward 1 in Longmont, is running for Mayor.  Tim has spent a lifetime in education as a Teacher, Principal and then as Superintendent of Schools. He then went on to become the Executive Director of an international nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization devoted to assisting educational institutions and agencies in improving student results.

I have known Tim personally for over 26 years.  He is a visionary with grounded principals and a born leader with all the tools to steward our City going forward.  He's the one I want to be in the forefront representing Longmont as we face the challenges ahead.  He's an intelligent, compassionate, caring individual who possesses all the necessary qualities to guide our City.  Tim does more than just listen to his constituents, he hears them.  He has thoughtful ideas which he's able to articulate in a common sense understandable way.  Tim is precisely what we need in Longmont to help bring us out of this world pandemic.

Let's not miss this opportunity to have Tim Waters as Longmont's next Mayor.  Please join me in voting for Tim as Mayor.
