A theme of immense gratitudehas emerged from nonprofit organizations throughout Longmont throughout the year and the pandemic. In a series of letters throughout the day, Longmont nonprofit organizations are sending out their heartfelt thanks to the Longmont community for the support they have received. The Longmont Leader accepts contributions, photos, and op-eds for publication from community members, business leaders and public officials on local topics. Publication will be at the discretion of the editor and published opinions do not represent the views of the Longmont Leader or its staff. To submit a contribution, email [email protected].

Thank you. Thank you to neighbors. Thank you to community. Thank you for togetherness. Thank you to Longmont.

From all of us at Longmont Meals on Wheels, we want to thank this extraordinary community where we live, work and serve.

Longmont Meals on Wheels is your local charity that supports homebound people with disabilities and older neighbors in Longmont, Niwot, Hygiene and Lyons with hot, ready-to-eat, nutritious meals and wellness checks. But we can only support those who need help because of this community who supports, who cares, who unites, who expresses joy.

On behalf of our clients, volunteers and staff, we give thanks to Longmont. We feel your support. Happy thanksgiving!
