Longmont City Council members will be holding an executive session today starting at 5:30 p.m.

According to the document published on the City of Longmont’s city council meeting agendas portal, the executive session was requested by City Manager Harold Dominguez, and City Attorney Eugene Mai to discuss “(1) the Top Operating Co. master contract and associated operational and regulatory issues, (2) City mineral and other property interests related to oil and gas development, and (3) the potential purchase and/or acquisition of open space real property interests”.

Executive sessions are closed to the public and topics discussed are limited per the Colorado Open Meetings Law. No formal action is taken during these sessions.
