The Longmont Downtown Development Authority is looking for volunteers for its annual Clean & Green event on Saturday, April 23 from 8-11:30 a.m.

Volunteers will spruce up downtown Longmont by taking on a varietynu of “deep-cleaning” projects, according to a LDDA news release.

Folks will be asked to help cleanup around breezeways, alleys, parking lots and more, the news release states.

Volunteers will get breakfast from Moe’s Broadway Bagels, lunch to go from Smokin’ Bowls, and Clean and Green t-shirts. They can also expect to get a little dirty while having fun in the outdoors and to do physical work like bending, twisting, lifting and standing for 2-3 hours.

For more information about volunteering, contact 303-651-8586 or [email protected].
