Shopping Saturday: Downtown Sidewalk Sale 

On Saturday, select downtown Longmont businesses will be offering sales and specials during a Shopping Saturday event hosted by Longmont Development Authority. Participating businesses will include Crackpots Pottery, Crystal Joys, NewCastle Comics & Games, Madhouse 4 Paws, Used Book Emporium, A Florae, Primitive Country Loft House, Brown's Shoe Fit Co. and Wildflower Mercantile. 

Also, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, ArtWalk’s Summer on the Streets will take place in the breezeways and alleyways of downtown Longmont and feature more music, arts, crafts and vendors. Participating artists will include Serendipty by Sweet Bea’s, Kay Power, Catherine Bruning, Jovanna Gittnas, Terecita Wilch, Kim Sems and more. There will be live music performances by Valerie Bhat, Silver Wave Band, David Booker, Kevin Dooley, Cara Keyser and Steve Glotzer.

Francis & The Wolf Album Release Party | Downtown Longmont, CO

Francis & The Wolf are excited to announce the release of their second album entitled Truth Be Told. To celebrate they are throwing a party at Wibby Brewing on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The show is free, the venue is amazing and there will be all kinds of fun for the crew.

Back Alley Ghost Tours - East Side | Downtown Longmont, CO

To celebrate 150 years of Longmont's history, there will be Back Alley Ghost Tours of the east side one Friday a month this year. Meet the locals and legends of Longmont - some gone, but not forgotten! Others forgotten, but not gone? The tour guide will be Dori Spence, a psychic medium. The Haunting History Tours are family friendly for kids over the age of 12 and begin at 6 p.m. The Back Alley Ghost tours are for adults only and begin at 8 p.m. Advance purchase of tickets is required. Home Groove Band at Bootstrap brewing! | Downtown Longmont, CO 

On Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bootstrap Brewing, Home Groove Band will perform.  Home Groove is an R&B jam band based out of Louisville Colorado. The band has a love for tight harmony singing and deep pocket grooves. Home Groove is made up of experienced musicians with a passion for R&B jam band music. Mario Inchausti has joined the band after touring with Shakira and playing for the Grammy Awards. He adds soulful singing and keyboard playing at a level that is rarely seen in Colorado.

Spiritual, Creative, Earth Magic Fiesta

On Saturday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Earth Feather Healings, join the fun with local business owners celebrating and offering their goods and magic! Vendors and offerings include Earth Feather Healings with mini psychic readings by students ($20 for 20 minutes); OG Minerals with rocks, gems, and hand carved goods; Cactus Coven with goodies from the Earth; Jason Gallaher with bodywork and counseling; Pink Instincts with “Build a Man” card games; Rachelle Storti with Rocky Mountain Body Potion, massage and herbs; and Crystal Bowl and Reiki Healings by Rachelle and Ruby ($20 for 20 minutes).

On Saturday, from 8 to 9:30 p.m. at Longmont Public Media, there will be an intimate listening room concert with singer-songwriter Alexa Wildish.

On Sunday, August 15, at 2:00 p.m. Fiddler on the Roof Jr. will perform their debut show at Jesters Dinner Theatre! Other show times are 7:30 p.m. each night between Monday, August 16 and Thursday, August 19 and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22. Buy your tickets on Jesters Dinner Theatre’s website

Yoga for Joint Mobility, a Sunday Specialty Class | Downtown Longmont, CO

FREE Community Night: Legendary Ladies

Bring your picnic meal, chairs and blankets and enjoy the scenery and lawn games from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at the Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. At 6:30 p.m., the Legendary Ladies will expound on the lives of fascinating women who became a part of the lore of the West, and enrich the audience through stories of perseverance, independence, and leadership. This is a free outdoor family event; please consider carpooling due to limited parking. No pets. No registration required. Sunset Eco-Tour

Explore the lake with Rocky Mountain Paddle Board on our Sunset Eco-Tours. This easy moving paddle will give you the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including pelicans, bald eagles, and osprey. Our ACA certified guides will take the time to discuss the tributaries, history and ecological makeup of the lake as the sunsets behind the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains. Colorado's oldest and largest weekly family-friendly cruiser ride meets at 6:30pm on Wednesdays at Roosevelt Park (Longs Peak & Coffman). Weekly themes for each ride are posted to the Longmont Bike Night Facebook Page, so be sure to check back each week and be a part of the fun!

Time to Grow Business is a Networking Group of the Longmont Chamber and is formatted as a Business Connection Group. Time to Grow Business is a group working to support and develope its members by connecting on opportunities to grow their businesses while supporting and learning about one another businesses. Group meets twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 8 to 9 a.m., for leads exchange, business advice, and network expansion. Networking Groups are a great way to deeply connect with other local business leaders and share leads and ideas. One representative from each industry may attend a Networking Group.
