Fiddler on the Roof Youth Auditions
On Sunday, August 1 and Monday, August 2 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. each night at Jesters Dinner Theatre at 224 Main Street in Longmont, people ages 19 and younger can audition for a youth production of “Fiddler on the Roof.”
"Those auditioning should prepare 32 measures of a song and bring sheet music for the accompanist. There is a $400 participation fee for all those who are cast."
Cast members will have six, four-hour long rehearsals before performing "Fiddler on the Roof" at Jesters Dinner Theatre every day from Sunday, August 15 to Sunday, August 22.

Wrenn & Ian live at Bootstrap Brewing!
On Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bootstrap Brewing, there will be a live music performance by Wrenn & Ian. Wrenn and Ian are young musicians based out of Lafayette, Colorado. They play an eclectic mix of original music and cover songs with Wrenn on vocals and Ian on guitar. They have a unique sound of their own and a musical finesse beyond their years.
Village Vibes
On Friday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Steve Thomas Band will perform at Village at the Peaks. Grab some dinner from one of our Village at the Peaks restaurants and enjoy some live jams on the village lawn stage.

Boulder Valley Dressage Shows
On Saturday, starting at 11:30 a.m., Boulder Valley Dressage will present two RMDS, USDF, USEF recognized shows at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.
Peak2Peak: Open-Air Pavilion Performance
On Saturday, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Wibby Brewing, there will be an open-air pavilion performance. Wibby Brewing will also offer a unique experience to float around in our chlorinated, oversized pools, refreshing beverage in hand while enjoying the show. Access for this unique experience is extra and comes with a few rules. No Glass, shoes (of any kind), or pets. Children are not allowed in the pools during this time and everyone must rinse off at the hose station before jumping in.

Antique Clock and Watch Show
On Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, there will be an antique clock and watch show.
Walking Meditation & Special Oban Service
On Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Longmont Buddhist Temple, there will be a special Oban service. Oban – or Obonfest is a summertime Japanese (and Japanese-American) festival commemorating one’s ancestors. In their honor, lanterns are hung, Bon Odori (Obon dance) is performed, memorial visits are made, and food is offered. Join us at Longmont’s Kanemoto Park near the Tower or Compassion for a walking meditation followed by this year’s special Oban service.

Longmont Martial Arts Summer Camp - Ages 3+ Session 5: August 2-6
At Easton Training Center, kids will have a blast learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai techniques with our enthusiastic, experienced instructors. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art, excellent for building coordination and body awareness. Muay Thai is a style of Kickboxing born in Thailand, and is great for balance. In addition to physical skills, our program emphasizes the martial arts values of respect, self-discipline, and confidence. In addition to the martial arts skills they'll build throughout the day, kids can expect tons of exciting games and technique-based drills led by their coaches. Every day of camp will also include a different special activity. Half day camps will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and full day camps will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Choose between full-week or single-day reservations.

Sunflower Farm Music evenings are held every Wednesday this summer until August 11th to help support local musicians and local food trucks! August 4th is Big Hooray Bluegrass & Wheels on Fire, Wood-Fired Pizzas! The event will take place at Sunflower Farm at 1150 Prospect Road, Longmont, CO from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $23 per person.
