Monday Night Life Drawing Class

The Firehouse Art Center is proud to offer a socially distanced life drawing session coordinated with Art of Modeling for people 18 years and older on Monday nights from 6 to 8. The classes are short, sit-dry media only and while the Firehouse provides chairs and tables, it’s BYOB easels and supplies. In this two-hour session, poses vary from short gestures to 15 or 20 minute studies in an open-studio format. This is not an instructor-led class; artists are invited to practice their craft in their own style. All artists are responsible for cleaning their area after class. For distancing reasons, each person will need a separate table or must bring their own easel. No materials will be provided or shared. Space is limited so reserve a slot on eventbrite for $15 general admission and $12.00 discount pricing for Firehouse Artist members. Doors close 5 minutes after class starts and open 15 minutes before.

ApeCo Movement Class + Potluck

Ape Co Movement School is set out to build a new paradigm in Movement to achieve the unattainable through a unique process that results in optimal physicality and relentless confidence. Join us on Dec. 29 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Yellow Barn Farm in Longmont for an Ape CO Movement Class then for a community potluck afterwards! Simply put, in this class we will move. Move in a way you have not experienced in other forms of fitness because we are confined only by the label of movement and all that the word entails. This will be fun and invigorating for not only your body but also your mind. The class will include several drills and partner games that will reconnect you to your humanness. Imagine a class that includes exercises to open your joints so you can move as you used to, incorporates moments of deep interaction with others, allows somatic exploration, and leaves you physically expended as well as mentally expanded.

Taught by Logan Ditillo. A long term practitioner of movement under Ape Co Movement School. Someone who uses the container of movement to express, explore and refine his passion for the connection with self, others and the world as a whole. A movement practice has sent waves of impact through his life and he hopes he can initiate a similar impact in his students' lives. Ape Co Movement School is set out to build a new paradigm in Movement to achieve the unattainable through a unique process that results in optimal physicality and relentless confidence.
