Vintage Market Days

Vintage Market Days is a 3-day event that is held several times a year in varying communities throughout the country. Vintage Market Days will be at the Boulder County Fairgrounds on July 16, 17 and 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Attendees can expect an “upscale vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings & a little more.” Along with vendors, there will be live music and food trucks at the event. On Friday, there will be an Early Buying Event and admission will be $15 per person. Admission will be $10 per person on Saturday and Sunday. Once you buy a ticket, there will be free entry for the rest of the weekend. Admission for children ages 12 and under is free.

A Taste of History - a Sampling Tour of Historic Downtown | Downtown Longmont, CO

Celebrate Longmont's 150th anniversary by embarking on a sampling tour of Historic Downtown. Tour Longmont's famous and haunted (?) buildings and sample specialties from local eateries. This event is to celebrate Longmont's history makers; the ones who got Longmont's heart beating and those who are keeping it beating strong today. Advance purchase of tickets is required. PTO Elementary Park Playdate

On Thursday, July 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Left Hand Creek Park at 1800 Creekside Dr. in Longmont, the PTO is hosting a playdate for elementary school children. Meet your friends and make new ones! 

July 16 

Coffee with the Chair & CEO - Jul 16, 2021 - Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce

On Friday, July 16, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., there will be a Coffee with the Chair and CEO event. Coffee with the Chair is a once a month event hosted by the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce's 2020/2021 Board Chair, Chris McGilvray. During the meeting Chris, and Scott Cook, Chamber CEO take member questions and update attendees on Chamber activities. In addition, there are often special guest conversations. 

Noir Night at Longmont Public Media

On Friday, July 16, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Longmont Public Media at 457 4th Ave., Join us in our big tv studio for our second Noir Night! An evening of heists, murder investigations, and double-crossing femme fatales. Snacks and water will be provided and this event is BYOB!

The featured Movie is Elevator to the Gallows, a gripping film noir that does not disappoint! The movie will screen at 6:15pm, but be sure to get here at 5:30pm for mingling and information about this film and other noirs like it. Seats are limited and sign up is required so register today!

Christmas in July Pop-up Market

On Saturday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 921 Kimbark St, Longmont, CO, there will be a Christmas in July pop-up market. Embrace the fairly chill parties, as a part of the celebration of Christmas in July 2021. There are so many things to do in Longmont with this merriment running all across the city. Stumble Monkey live at Bootstrap Brewing! | Downtown Longmont, CO

On Saturday, July 17, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bootstrap Brewing, Stumble Monkey will play live music. Stumble Monkey is an epic fun Funk/Rock Band in Colorado. With endless hits and a singer with a ten foot voice, they will keep your booties shakin' all nite long. Get ready for an epic good time!  

July 18 

Exhibit - Means of Production - Longmont, CO - AARP

On Sunday, July 18, starting at 12:00 p.m., there will be a Means of Production Exhibit at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont. In “Means of Production” the Firehouse Art Center presents work from three artists -- Manda Remmen, Noah Breuer and Alexandra Knox -- addressing issues of labor, ownership, and consumerism. Within our lives and histories all three concepts are intertwined: they are both personal and general with real-world effects.Manda Remmen and Noah Breuer present works that invite visitor participation and a hands-on interaction.

Summer Camp: Art Around the Universe | Downtown Longmont, CO

From Monday, July 19 to Friday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., children ages 8 to 12 can participate in Art Around the Universe Camp at the Longmont Museum. The galaxy is full of beauty and color. Let’s use those galaxy colors to decorate, craft, and make art. Use the inspiration of the universe to make t-shirts, slime, paintings, jewelry, and more!

Summer Camp: Fashion Design Camp | Downtown Longmont, CO

From Monday, July 19 to Friday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., children ages 9 to 14 can participate in Fashion Design Camp at the Longmont Museum. Spend the week with Julie Benoit from Maker General learning the basics of designing and constructing a garment: choosing fabric, cutting and reading a pattern, pinning fabric, sewing a design, and more. Make as many garments as you can for your wardrobe!

Summer Camp: Hogwarts Preparatory Academy | Downtown Longmont, CO

From Monday, July 19 to Friday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., children ages 7 to 11 can participate in Hogwarts Preparatory Academy Camp. The same camp also runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In a marvelous melding of magic and “ekeltrontics,” we present the well-renowned Hogwarts Preparatory Academy. Learn everything you need to know before you set off for Platform 9 3/4. Skilled witches and wizards share their knowledge of wizarding culture and magical skills such as Potions, Spells, and Defense against the Dark Arts. This camp is held online. Supply kits to use and keep will be available at the Museum for curbside pick-up. Multimedia waiver must be signed to participate.
