Crews have worked through the day to clear snow and ice from the roads. Arterial streets are mostly wet with scattered areas of slush and packed snow. Collector streets are a mixture of snow pack and ice, with some clear spots developing from chemical application. Crews will continue to clear streets and turn lanes through the evening, and will also be out in the early morning hours Friday to prepare for rush hour traffic. Forecasts are predicting temperatures in the teens overnight. These low temperatures could create icy conditions on the streets, and caution should be used on overpasses, bridges, and intersections. Please allow extra time in your commute.
