DEATH
On August 14, 2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Homestead Parkway in reference to a welfare check. A 63-year-old female was found deceased of apparent natural causes. The case is closed.
THEFT
A Longmont resident in the 00 block of 3rd Avenue reported a theft of her bicycle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
WEAPON
On 8-13-18 at 2238 hrs., an adult male resident of the 900 block of Sparrow Hawk Dr turned over a firearm he found in his garage that had been defaced. He suspected his prior room-mate of possessing/defacing the gun from more than 4 years prior. The statute of limitations in this misdemeanor matter has expired and the case is closed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On 08/14/2018 Longmont Police received a report of a criminal tampering, which occurred in the 1500 block of Atwood St. Unknown person(s) unlawfully tampered with vehicles at the address, with intent to inconvenience the owner. There are no suspects or leads in this case, and it will be closed.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On August 14, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 2900 block of Mcintosh Drive. An adult male reported his vehicle was entered last night and his wallet was stolen from inside. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

DISTURBANCE
On Tuesday, 08-14-2018, Longmont Police responded to a possible disturbance in the 300 blk of Quail Rd. Upon investigation, a male party was located and arrested on an unrelated case. This case is Closed.
THEFT
On August 14, 2018 a theft report was received from the 100 block of E 5th Ave. An adult female reported her vehicle license plate was cut in half and the decal was stolen. There is no suspect information. Case closed.
AUTO THEFT
The Longmont Police Department completed an outside Auto Theft Investigation in the 2200 block of Main St. Case is cleared by arrest.
FRAUD
On Tuesday, 08/14/18, a report was taken reference a theft and forgery which occurred in the 400 Blk. of Vivian St. The case is under investigation.
WARRANT ARREST
On August 14, 2018, an adult female was arrested in the 200 block of Lashley Street for outstanding warrants. The case is closed.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 08/14/2018, at approximately 1248 hours, Longmont Police responded to a Violation of Protection Order call for service in the 800 block of Atwood St, an address in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado. Upon investigation, one adult male was contacted and arrested without incident. Case cleared by arrest.
FRAUD
On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at approximately 1500 hours, officers were contacted by and adult male who wanted to report that his ex-girlfriend had under his personal information to rent an apartment. The male further stated that the apartment was now stating that he owed them money. The apartment complex was contacted and advised that the male had rented the apartment not the ex-girlfriend. No crime occurred and the case is closed.
FRAUD
On August 14, 2018 a fraud report was received from the 100 block of E 6th Ave. An adult female reported her Direct Express card number was used to make fraudulent charges. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.
LOST PROPERTY
On August 14, 2018 a lost property report was received from the 2100 block of Main Street. A juvenile male reported he lost his cell phone. Case closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 08/13/2018, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic in the 900 block of Button Rock Dr. Upon arrival the parties had seperated and were no longer fighting. Both parties were fighting over a custody issue. Due to the lack of information no charges were filled at this time.
WELFARE CHECK
On 8-14-18 at 0031 hrs., LPD Officers were asked by Denver Police to check the welfare of an adult female in the 4400 block of Redmond Drive. The female was not at the address and an information only report was completed. The matter is closed in Longmont.
THEFT
On Tuesday, 08/14/18 at approximately 0045 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 17th Ave for an assist to another agency. A license plate was reported as stolen and a different license plate was seized from a vehicle on scene. Case is closed.

The Longmont Police Department investigated a First Degree Criminal Trespass in northwest Longmont. Case is cleared by arrest.
THEFT
On Tuesday, 08/14/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 1300 Blk. of S. Coffman St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
WARRANT ARREST
On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, Longmont Police Responded to the 1200 block of Trail Ridge Rd. on a welfare check.. An adult male was found to have several warrants out for his arrest. The male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Tuesday, 08-14-2018, Police were dispatched to the Boulder County Probation office located at 1035 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501 on an attempt to locate. Police arrested one adult male on an active warrant. The male was later transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.
SHOPLIFT
On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 1712 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St in reference to a 41-year-old female who was contacted for shoplifting. The female was referred to restorative justice. This case has been exceptionally cleared.
CHILD
On August 14, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to a report of child abuse in the 1400 block of Emery Street. This case is closed.
SHOPLIFT
On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 1848 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St in reference to a 38-year-old male who was contacted for shoplifting. The male was issued a summons for theft and released. This case is cleared by arrest.
