THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 300 block of Maggie Street reported the theft of her license plate.

THEFT

On August 26, 2019, a theft report was received from the 2500 block of Main Street. An adult male reported currency was stolen from his business.

WELFARE CHECK

On 8/26/19, Longmont police responded to a residence in the 00 block of 4th Avenue to the report of a welfare check of an adult male. The adult male was contacted and he did not need any further assistance. Case closed.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont male was bitten by his own cat after breaking up a cat fight; the dog was quarantined at home.

ASSAULT

On 8/26/19 around 2100 hours, officers responded to a mandatory report of threats made to others in the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue. A report was filed.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bitten by a dog in the 300 block of Lincoln Street. The dog was placed on home quarantine and the owner warned.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Saturday, August 24, 2019 at approximately 2131 hours, officers responded to the 3200 block of Lake Park Way on a report of a small bottle hitting the roof of a parked vehicle. No suspects were identified.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday, 8/24/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Nelson Road and South Hover Street in reference to a theft. Two adult females were contacted and later arrested. Cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at approximately 1056 hours, officers took the report of a cold first degree criminal trespass, which occurred in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue.

DUI

On Sunday, August 25, 2019, police conducted a traffic stop near Ken Pratt Boulevard and Frontage Road. The adult male driver was arrested on DUI charges after an investigation. He was transported to jail and the case is cleared.

MEDICAL ASSIST

On August 25, 2019, police responded to the 1300 Sapphire Lane on a medical assist. An adult male was later transported to the hospital.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at approximately 2155 hours, officers responded to the 2900 block of 17th Avenue to assist the Boulder County Sheriff's office with an ongoing investigation.

WELFARE CHECK 

On 8/25/19, officers responded to the 600 block of Olympia Avenue in reference to a welfare check involving a juvenile female.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

Two neighbors were willing to be witnesses to a barking dog issue in the 2100 block of Spencer Street. The dog owner was issued a summons.

FOLLOW UP

On Monday, August 26, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

PROTECTION ORDER

On August 26, 2019 the Longmont Police Department took a report of a Violation of a Protection Order that occurred in the 2700 Block of Copper Peak Lane. The case is under investigation.

ASSAULT

On Monday, 8/26/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Meredith aLen and Centennial Drive in reference to a possible disturbance. An adult male and an adult female were contacted. The female was later placed under arrest for assault. Cleared by Arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On Monday, August 26, 2019, police recovered a stolen vehicle on the 2400 block of Clover Basin Drive. The vehicle was unoccupied and turned over to Boulder County Sheriff's Dept.

PROTECTION ORDER

On August 26, 2019 at approximately 1838 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a Violation of a Protection Order in the 700 Block of Crisman Drive. The case is under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On August 26, 2019 at approximately 1948 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1100 block of 21st Avenue on a narcotics violation. An adult male was arrested on outstanding warrants. Case cleared by arrest.
