SEX ASSAULT

On August 26, 2018, Officers responded to the 300 BLK of National PL on report of an attempted sexual assault of a child. This case will be open for further investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, 08/26/18 at approximately 2256 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Barnard Ct for a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested on 08/27/18 for this case. Case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On August 27, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on a domestic violence-related disturbance. One adult male was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On August 27, 2018 an Identity Theft report was received from the 2400 block of Linden Street. An adult male reported his debit card was used in making fraudulent transactions. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On August 27, 2018 Longmont Police investigated a restraining order violation in the 2500 blk of Lanyon Dr. One suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

DISTURBANCE

On Monday 08/27/18, Police investigated a disturbance in the 1000 block of Button Rock Dr. Juvenile male was cited. Cleared by Arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Saturday August 25, 2018 at approximately 0810 hours an officer took a report of a cold first degree criminal trespass to an unlocked motor vehicle in the 1600 block of Radcliffe Pl. The case is closed as there are no workable leads.

THEFT

On Sunday, August 26, 2018, at approximately 0530 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Main St., on a theft which had just occurred. A male was contacted, and provided a false identity to officers. On Monday, August 27, the male was contacted and his identity was found. The male had two outstanding warants. The case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On 082618 the Longmont Police Department took a report of an assault on an at-risk adult which occurred in the 1800 block of Stroh Place. An 85 year old female struck a 75 year old female, causing a minor injury. This case is under investigation.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Monday, August 27, 2018, at approximately 0020 hours the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of 3rd Ave., and Main St., to assist a bail bondsman, who had deployed his Taser to stop a fleeing female. A report was taken for information only. The case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, August 27, 2018, at approximately 0200 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a possible domestic incident, which occurred on the 1200 block of Autumn Ct. No arrests were made. A report was taken for informational purposes. The case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 8-27-18 at 0352 hrs., officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Main Street. Investigation revealed no crime was committed, but an information report was taken due to unusual circumstances. The matter is closed.

DEATH

On 08/27/2018, Longmont Police responded to the 600 block of Coffman St. regarding a medical assist. Police arrived and investigated the matter, and the case is currently closed.

THEFT

On August 27, 2018 a theft report was received from the 400 block of Crystal Place. An adult female reported a package was stolen from the front porch of her residence. Case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday August 27th, 2018 Longmont PD was called to the 000 block of 9th ave on a child call. Upon further investigation one adult female was taken into custody on unrelated warrants. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On August 27th, 2018 at approximately 1659 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mountain View Avenue and Alpine Street. An adult male was contacted and arrested on warrants and additional charges.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, August 27, 2018, at approximately 1837 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Hover Street on a theft from the business. An adult male was contacted by officers after leaving a business without paying for merchandise. The male was charged with theft and with violating a protection order. He was transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On August 27, 2018, at approximately 2018 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Coffman for a disturbance. An investigation was conducted. Case closed.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

On 08-27-18 the Longmont Police investigated an indecent exposure incident that occurred several days prior. There was no suspect information, and no other leads to follow up. The information was forwarded to the Beat officers, and the case was closed.
