Longmont Police Report: Dec. 10, 2019

AUTO THEFT On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at about 0709 hours, Longmont PSTs handled an auto theft at the 800 block of Atwood Street. THEFT A Longmont resident reported theft in the 2400 block of Trade Center Avenue.

AUTO THEFT

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at about 0709 hours, Longmont PSTs handled an auto theft at the 800 block of Atwood Street.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 2400 block of Trade Center Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 00 block of Gardner Drive. This case is open.

CHILD

On 12/10/2019 Longmont Police took a report of a possible child abuse incident that took place on 12/08/2019 at a restaurant in the 1800 block of Industrial Cir between an adult male and a juvenile male. A report has been taken and the case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for a Blue Sky Bridge interview.

CHILD

On Tuesday December 10, at approximately 1039, Longmont Police were dispatched to, 1000 block of Button Rock for a report of child abuse.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday December 10th, 2019, at approximately 1500 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to contact a party by phone reference possible harassment. Police contacted an adult male and adult female. The case referred to detectives.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at approximately 1600 hours, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Lashley Street in reference to an adult male with a misdemeanor warrant for is arrest. The male was located and placed under arrest. He posted bond at the police station and was released with a new court date. The case is cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at approximately 1945 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt Blvd. on a report of five juvenile runaways. During the investigation it was determine that one of the juveniles attempted to assault and harassed an adult male. The juveniles were not located and the case is open.

WELFARE CHECK

ON 12/09/2019 (Monday) at approximately 1322 hours, officers responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark Street on the report of a suicidal female. Officers met with an adult female who was suicidal. The female was placed on a mental health hold and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

THEFT

On December 9, 2019 Longmont officers took a report of a theft in the 2200 block of Main Street. An unknown individual stole a jacket. There are no suspects in this case.

DUI

On Monday, December 9, 2019 at approximately 1358 hours Longmont Police investigated a REDDI (Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately) call where a green Mercury Mariner was failing to drive in a single lane and had struck a curb in the area of 9th Ave. and Airport Rd. The reporting party followed the suspect vehicle to 17th Ave. and Hover St. where the suspect vehicle was involved in a traffic accident where it rear-ended a cement truck. There were no injuries in the crash. The suspect driver was placed under arrest for DUI and taken into custody without incident.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 12/09/2019 (Monday) at approximately 1638 hours, officers responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a suspicious situation. After contacting one adult female it was found she was having a mental health crisis. The adult female was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

VICIOUS DOG

A juvenile male was bitten by the family dog in the 1600 block of Vivian Street. The dog was placed on home quarantine.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 121019, officers responded to a domestic incident in the 000 block of Valentine Ln between a male and female. A domestic incident report was taken.

WELFARE CHECK

On December 10, 2019, at approximately 0948 hrs Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Ken Pratt Blvd.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/10/19, Longmont police took a report of an Unlawful Sexual Contact that occurred on 11/28/19 in the 2300 block of Jewel Dr. case is open and referred to detectives.

FRAUD

On 120819, an adult female reported a potential forgery in the 300 block of Homestead Pkwy. A report was taken.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Police responded to the 100 block of Judson St on a juvenile with a knife. A male juvenile was contacted along with his mother. An information report was completed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday December 10th, 2019, at approximately 1630 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Hilltop St. reference a domestic incident. Police contacted an adult female and adult male. The case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 121019, officers took a report of an attempted theft in the 200 block of Kimbark St involving two adult females.
