BURGLARY
On July 18, 2019 a burglary report was received from the 700 block of Nelson Park Cir. An adult female reported her vehicle was entered while it was parked inside her garage and items were stolen from inside.
WARRANT ARREST
On Thursday, 7/18/19, Officers arrested an adult male in the 2300 block of Main Street on an outstanding warrant out of Arapahoe County. The male lied about his identity and felony charges were added. Case cleared by arrest.
FRAUD
On July 17, 2019 at approximately 1338 hours, the Longmont Police Department received a report of fraud. An adult female received checks that she was supposed to deposit. After she deposited the checks the female was to send money to several other people. The female did the deposit and withdraw but the checks had non-sufficient funds and were returned. At this time the case is open.
CHILD
On July 16, 2019, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a report of child abuse in the 2000 block of Miller Drive. Several people were contacted and interviewed.
DISTURBANCE
On July 16, 2019, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Main St. An adult male and an adult female were contacted. Case is closed.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Wednesday, 7/17/19 at approximately 0904 hrs, Officers were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle located at the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. Officers learned the abandoned vehicle was stolen out of Lafayette, CO. Vehicle was towed, no suspect leads.
TRESPASS
On Wednesday 07/17/2019 at approximately 1141 hrs, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 19th Ave, regarding a trespass in progress. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted two males trespassing. One male had been warned in the past not to trespass, and was issued a summons for trespassing and released. The other male was given a trespass warning and released.
TRESPASS
On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at approximately 1515 hours, officers investigated a trespass to a business in the 300 block of 1st Avenue. The adult male suspect was contacted a short distance from the business and issued a summons. The case is cleared by arrest.
INFORMATION
On 07/17/2019 officers took an informational report about a suspicious male who came to the door in the early morning of 07/14/2019. This report is for informational purposes only.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Wednesday July 17th, 2019, at approximately 1600 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of Tulane Ct. reference an outside agency assist. Police contacted two adult females and one adult male. The case is currently closed.
HARASSMENT
On Thursday 7/17/19 at approximately 0010 hours, police responded to the 200 block Main Street in relation to a suspicious incident. An cold harassment was disclosed. There are no more leads in the case to follow.
WARRANT ARREST
On Thursday, July 18, 2019, at around 0019 hours, Longmont Police contacted an adult male in the 900 block of South Fordham Street. The male was arrested for having an active warrant and was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
TRAFFIC STOP
On 7/18/19 officers stopped a car at 17th Avenue and Sumner Street. Two juvenile females and a juvenile male was contacted and the driver was issued a juvenile referral form.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Thursday, 7/18/19, a report was taken in reference to a criminal mischief which occurred in the 2000 block of Red Cloud Road. The suspects are unknown.
SHOPLIFT
On Thursday, July 18, 2019, officers responded to the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in response to a shop lift. An investigation was conducted and the case is cleared, summons issued.
AUTO THEFT
A Longmont resident reported motor vehicle theft in the 2200 block of Main Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
On Thursday, July 18, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.
SHOPLIFT
On Thursday, 7/18/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 1800 block of Main Street. The suspects are unknown.
WARRANT ARREST
On 7/18/19 Longmont Police contacted a wanted party near the area of Umbria Lane and Portofino Drive in the City of Longmont. The juvenile male was placed into custody and transported to the Longmont Police Department for booking, prior to being transported and released to the custody of the Boulder County Juvenile Detention Center.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
Animal Control responded to a dog in a hot car, the owner was issued a ticket.
