CRIME MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS
On July 23, 2018 a criminal mischief report was received from the 900 block of Baker Street. An adult male reported a tire on his vehicle was punctured while parked in front of his residence. There is no suspect information. Case closed.
WARRANT ARREST
The Longmont Police Department completed a warrant arrest at Boulder County Probation, 1035 Kimbark St. Cleared by arrest.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Monday 07/23/2018 at about 1256 PM, an Officer from the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to assist the Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services in conducting a minimal facts interview for a reported sexual abuse of a child in the 600 block of Lashley St. Nothing was disclosed or discovered as a result of this interview. Case closed.
LOST PROPERTY
On July 23, 2018 a lost property report was received from the 1700 block of Sumac Street. An adult male reported his license plate was missing from his motorcycle. Case closed.
THEFT
On July 23, 2018 a theft report was received from the 500 block of S Hover St. An unknown adult female exit the department store without paying for several items. There is no suspect information. Case closed.
IDENTITY THEFT
On 7/23/2018 the Longmont Police Department was advised of a possible identity theft that occurred at King Soopers, located at 2255 Main Street. This case is under investigation.
SEX ASSAULT
On Monday, July 23, 2018, at approximately 1950 hours, officers responded to a local hospital and took custody of a sexual assault examination kit. The kit was placed into property and evidence. The case is closed.
THEFT
On July 23, 2018 a theft report was received from the 3600 block of Mountain View Ave. An adult male reported his bicycle was stolen from the back of his vehicle. There is no suspect information. Case closed.
MEDICAL LONGMONT PD LAW
On July 23rd, 2018 at approximately 2153 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Bluemoon Drive Longmont, CO in reference to an adult female suffering from a heroin overdose. Case is closed.
SHOPLIFT
The Longmont Police Department investigated a theft at Wal Mart, 2514 Main St. Case is pending further investigation.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Sunday, July 22, 2018, officers were dispatched to a parking lot in the 100 block of Ken Pratt on a hit and run accident. An adult male driver backed into another vehicle in the parking lot and left without contacting the police. All possible leads have been looked into and the case is closed.
DISTURBANCE
On 072318 the Longmont Police Department responded to an assault in the 400 block of Main Street. A 35 year old male assaulted a 31 year old male. The suspect was issued a municipal summons and released. Cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Monday, 07/23/18 at approximately 0608 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop near Niwot Rd and N 107th St stemming from a series of traffic violations that initiated at S Main St and Pike Rd. An adult male was arrested for violation bond conditions and violation of a protection order. Case cleared by arrest.
MENACING
On Monday, July 23, 2018 at 1135 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of Ken Pratt Blvs and S Main St in regards to a menacing case. A transient male stated another transient male showed him a firearm and threatened his life. This case is still currently under investigation. Case open.
VICIOUS DOG
On Monday, 07/23/18, Animal control received a fax of a dog bite that occurred on Saturday. The dog was quarantined at its home.
BURGLARY
On, Monday, July 23, 2018, Longmont Police took a report of a burglary and theft in the 1100 block of Wyndemere Cir. No suspect leads at this time. Case closed.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On 07/23/2018 (Monday) at approximately 1404 hours, Officers responded to the 1300 block of Vivian Street on the report of a suicidal female. Officers took one adult female into protective custody and transported her to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. The case is closed.
BURGLARY
On Monday, July 23, 2018, Police were dispatched to a burglary on the 1100 block of Parker Dr. An adult male's residence was entered and an motorized cart stolen from his garage. The item was later recovered by a family friend. The case is currently closed.
