AUTO THEFT

A rented vehicle was reported stolen from the 1000 block of 16th Avenue. There are no viable leads in the investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A City of Longmont employee reported damage to the restrooms at a city park. There are no investigative leads.

BURGLARY

On 6/23/19, Longmont police responded to the 1200 block of Main Street on a report of an intrusion alarm at a business. Upon arriving, police discovered the store had been broken into and several items had been stolen. At this time there is no suspect information.

THEFT

On June 24, 2019, a theft report was received from the 700 block of South Martin Street. An adult female reported money stolen from her over the last two years.

THEFT

On June 24, 2019, a theft report was received from the 1100 block of South Hover Street. An adult male reported merchandise was stolen from his store.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

On Monday, June 24, 2019, Longmont police investigated a suspicious incident in the 1200 block of South Hover Street. An adult male suspect was contacted and arrested without incident for indecent exposure and on a warrant issued out of Nevada.

WARRANT ARREST

On 6/24/19 at 1442 hours, a Longmont police officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male turned himself in on an active warrant. The adult male was taken into custody on the warrant. The adult male posted bond, was given a return court

date, and was released from custody. This case was cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On June 24, 2019, a theft report was received from the 1000 block of Main Street. An adult male reported his prescription was taken from a shopping cart.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

On 6/24/19 at approximately 1551 hours, Longmont police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane.

THEFT

On 6/24/19, a credit card was recovered in Longmont in a vehicle stolen from another jurisdiction.

DRUG VIOLATION

In May 2019, Longmont police started an investigation in the 1000 block of Alta Street. Several search warrants were served during this investigation. A 33 year-old male and another male were issued a summons for unlawful drug paraphernalia. This case remains open.

SHOPLIFT

On June 23, 2019, Longmont police officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a shop lift. Officers learned an adult female had stolen property from the area. She was later contacted and admitted to the theft. She was issued a summons to appear reference this case.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday, June 23, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on a call of theft. There was no identifiable suspect information at this time.

DUI

On June 23, 2019, officers made a traffic stop at 17th Avenue and Gay Street. An adult male was arrested for driving under the influence. This case was cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On June 24, 2019, Longmont officers investigated a report of a burglary in the 000 block of 9th Avenue. Several items were taken from a residence after an unknown party broke into the residence. There are no suspects in this case.

FOLLOW-UP

On Monday, June 24, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

On Monday, June 24, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

DEATH

On 6/24/19, Longmont police responded to an unresponsive adult male in the 10 block of 3rd Ave. The male was pronounced deceased on scene and a report was taken.

CHILD

On Monday, June 24, 2019 at approximately 0800 hours, Longmont police investigated allegations of child abuse in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. This case is being referred to Boulder County Housing and Human Services for follow-up.

CHILD

On June 24, 2019, Longmont officers investigated a report of an alleged child abuse in the 1100 block of Atwood Street. A neighbor witnessed what they felt was abuse of a juvenile male, however after investigation there was no crime.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday, June 24, 2019, officers responded to the 2200 block of Daley Drive in response to a criminal mischief call. An investigation was conducted and photographs were taken.

WARRANT ARREST

On 6/24/19, Longmont police responded to the 300 block of Lashley Street in an attempt to locate a subject with an active warrant. The subject was located and arrested without incident. This case was cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On June 24, 2019 at approximately 1510 hours, the Longmont Police Department received a citizen call regarding an abandoned vehicle at Cherrywood Drive and Alpine Street. The vehicle was cleared through CCIC and was found to be stolen from Brighton, Colorado. The vehicle

was processed for evidence and towed.

INFORMATION

On Monday, June 24, 2019, an adult female came to the Longmont Police Department to file a report of possible harassment. No probable cause was found for a crime.
