AUTO THEFT
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, a Longmont Police Officer assisted with an auto theft from the 1100 block of Atwood Street. A 2017 silver Jeep Wrangler, was stolen. No suspects have been identified at this time.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Longmont resident reported identity theft in the 00 block of Colgate Court. There are no leads or suspect information at this time.
INFORMATION
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019 officers investigated a report of sex trafficking in the 2300 block of Emery Street. The investigation is complete and the case will be closed, pending any further information coming to light.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
The Longmont Police Department investigated a harassment complaint that occurred in northwest Longmont.
WARRANT ARREST
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, officers responded to a warrant arrest at the 200 block of Kimbark Street. An arrest was made. This case was cleared by arrest.
FRAUD
On Wednesday, 6/26/19, Longmont police responded to a business in the 1200 blk of South Hover Street in reference to an adult male attempting to fraudulently purchase two iPhone 10S's. This case is currently under investigation.
FRAUD
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, police responded to the 1000 block of South Hover Street on a forged US currency bill. An adult male attempted to use the bill and was denied. The bill was recovered and the case is currently open.
DUI
On 6/26/19, officers responded to the 1100 block of Main Street on a report of a hit-and-run accident. Officers responded to the registered owner’s house and contacted the driver. Officers found the driver and he was arrested on alcohol related traffic charges. This case was cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On April 10, 2019, the Longmont Police Department became aware of a protection order violation which occurred in the 1600 block of Main Street. An arrest warrant has been issued for an adult male. This case is closed.
FOLLOW UP
On 6/19/19 a t1639 hours, officers responded to the area of Kensington Park to check on the welfare of an adult male. The male was found to be having a mental health crisis and was transported to a local facility for a mental health assessment.
WELFARE CHECK
On 6/24/19 at approximately 1613 hours, officers responded to the 1000 block of Fordham Street on the report of an adult female having a mental health crisis. The female was transported to a local facility for a mental health evaluation.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue to assist an outside agency. Officers transported an adult female on an outside mental health involuntary transportation hold.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On 6/25/19 at approximately 1257 hours, officers responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane on the report of an adult male who attempted to kill himself. Officers placed the adult male on a protective custody hold and transported him to a local facility for a mental health assessment.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
A Longmont resident in the 900 block of Emery Street reported miscellaneous items stolen from her vehicle. There are no investigative leads.
VICIOUS DOG
An adult male was bitten by a dog on an extendable leash in the 2300 block of Calais Drive. The dog was placed on quarantine at home and the owner warned.
WARRANT ARREST
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, Longmont police arrested an adult male on an outstanding warrant in the 300 block of Lashley Street. He was taken into custody without incident and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT
This case exists only to document the current roadway design and posted signage in the 500 block of South Pratt Parkway. This case is closed.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
A Longmont resident reported first-degree criminal trespass and theft in the 700 block of Nelson Park Circle. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.
WARRANT ARREST
On 6/26/19 at 1028 hours, a Longmont police officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Probation Department. An adult female was taken into custody on an active warrant. The adult female was given a return court date and released from custody on a PR bond.
