THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 2500 block of Main Street. This case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Friday, March 1, 2019, officers responded to the 700 block of Gay Street on a call of criminal mischief. An investigation took place and a report was written. This case is closed.

HARASSMENT

Police assisted school personnel in the investigation of a threat made saying that kids should not go to school on Friday if they didn't want to die. A juvenile female was issued a juvenile court referral for her involvement in this investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On Thursday, 2/28/19, Longmont police received a report of a theft at a business in the 500 block of South Hover Street. The merchandise was recovered, but the unknown male suspect was able to flee prior to police arrival. This case will be closed due a to lack of workable leads.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/28/19, officers were called to the 800 block of 15th Avenue on a report of a suspicious male. An adult male matching the description was contacted and arrested on a warrant. This case was cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On Friday, March 1, 2019, Longmont police officers followed up with a cold burglary that took place on Thursday, February 28, 2019, located at the 800 block of Meeker Street. This case open and referred back to detectives for follow-up.

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday, 2/28/19, Longmont police officers took custody of an adult male arrestee from the Firestone Police Department. The adult male was contacted and arrested by the Firestone Police Department for an active arrest warrant. This case is closed by arrest.

DUI

On Thursday 2/28/19 at approximately 2253 hours, police responded to the 200 block South Main Street in relation to a DUI. An adult male was arrested. This case was cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 2/28/19, Longmont officers responded to the 300 block of Emery Drive in reference to a restraining order violation. This case is open.

AUTO THEFT

On 3/01/19, Longmont police received a phone report referencing a cold motor vehicle theft from the 800 block of Martin Street. Police collected the available information and no arrests have yet been made. This case is under further investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Friday, 3/1/19 at approximately 0830 hours, officers responded to a report of a possible restraining order violation. Due to the lack of probable cause, this case is closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On Friday, March 1, 2019 at about 1430 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of East 5th Avenue for the report of an unlawful sexual contact. This case will remain open for further investigation.

HARASSMENT

On Friday, 3/1/19 at approximately 1500 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department took a report of a harassment. This case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On 3/1/19, officers responded to Target at 551 South Hover Street in Longmont for an adult male shoplifter. The male was issued a summons and released on scene. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Friday, 3/1/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 1200 block of South Sunset Street. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Friday 3/1/19 at approximately 2006 hours, police responded to the 00 hundred block of 9th Avenue in relation to a suicide attempt. A juvenile female was taken into protective custody on a mental-health hold. This case is closed.
