Longmont Police Report: March 14, 2018

DISTURBANCE On Wednesday, 03/14/18 at approximately 0802 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Denver Ave on a report of a family disturbance. A juvenile male was arrested and taken to jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday, 03/14/18 at approximately 0802 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Denver Ave on a report of a family disturbance. A juvenile male was arrested and taken to jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On March 14, 2018 a fraud report was received from the 100 block of Bowen Circle. An adult female was contacted who reported one of their payroll checks was forced. Case is open.

CHILD

On 03-14-18 the Longmont Police investigated a possible child abuse. The case is open and under investigation.

AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, 03/14/18, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft which occurred in the 600 Blk. of Longs Peak Ave. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

ASSAULT

On Wednesday 03-14-2018, Officers took a report of a cold alleged assault that occurred in the 1800 block of Stroh Place. There is no evidence to substantiate a crime and the case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday, 3/5/18, a Longmont Police Officer investigated a possible protection order violation. The case is open.

DISTURBANCE

On March 13, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 800 block of Main St. for a disturbance. A Juvenile male was causing a disturbance and was later released to parents. Case is cleared exceptionally, forwarded to LCJP.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 03/13/2018, Longmont officers responded to the 100 blk of E. 5th Ave. reference a medical assist. Allegations were made in reference to a domestic incident. Case is open.

LOST PROPERTY

On 3-13-18, an adult female transient reported the loss of her cellphone somewhere between the area of Walmart and Sandstone Ranch (3001 E Ken Pratt Blvd). The phone has been turned off and cannot be tracked. The matter is closed.

TRAFFIC STOP

On 03/13/2018, Longmont Police conducted a stop on a vehicle near 17th Ave. and Gay St. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a revoked license. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver was cited. One of the passengers in the vehicle was arrested on drug-related charges. The case is cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On 03/14/2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block Rider Ridge Dr. in response to two adult females fighting with eachother. Neither party was charged with a crime due to lack of infomration. This case is closed.

GRAFFITI

On 3/14/18, officers took a report of graffiti in the 200 block of Lashley St. There are no suspects at this time. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

A Longmont resident in the 2900 block of McIntosh Drive reported a burglary via an open garage door. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

FOLLOW UP

On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 03/14/2018 Officers of the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 100th block of 3rd Ave for a recovered stolen vehicle out of Aurora. Vehicle will be released to the owner by the Aurora Police Department. The case is closed.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 03/14/2018 at approximately 1500 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Ln. in response to a possible theft. This case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, 03/14/2018 at approximatley 1730 hours, Officer of the Longmont police departement took a report of a criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Corey St. This case is

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Wednesday, March 14, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 2400 block of Pratt St. on report of a suicidal party. An adult female was take into protective custody and transported to a local hospital. This case is closed.

MISSING PERSON

On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, Longmont Police received a report of two runaway 17-year-old male juveniles in the 2700 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd. No suspicious circumstances were evident. The area was checked but the males were not located. Both males have been entered as runaways. This case is closed.
