Longmont Police Report: Nov. 14, 2019

On 11/14/2019, at approximately 0122 hours, officers responded to a structure fire, at 2770 Copper Peak Ln, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.


On Thursday November 14th, 2019 at about 1038 AM, an Officer from the Longmont Police Department received information about a previous assault which had occurred outside of Longmont's jurisdiction. Minimal facts were obtained and this case will be forwarded to the Detectives for follow-up.


On Thursday, 11-14-2019, Longmont Police received a report of a cold restraining order violation. Upon investigation, probable cause was developed for the arrest of an adult male. Male was contacted and will coordinate turning himself in.


On Thursday, November 14, 2019, ata bout 1059 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a missing person report of an adult female.


On Thursday, November 14/2019, at about 1604 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a theft of a black backpack at the 2400 block of Sherman. A report was taken.


On 11/14/2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to a welfare check of an adult female, who had not shown up to work for two days. Friends of the female responded to the residence and found her injured on the floor. The female was transported to Longs Peak Hospital for treatment. No foul play is suspected in this case, and it will be closed.


On Wednesday November 13, 2019, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Kimbark St, for an attempt to locate a wanted male party. A male was later arrested for and outstanding warrant.


On Saturday, 11/09/19, a cat was shot in the face with a BB gun in the area of Humboldt Place.


On 11/13/2019 (Wednesday) at approximately 1419 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Queens Drive on the report of a welfare check. Officers met with an adult female who was taken to a local hospital on a mental health hold for a mental health evaluation.


On November 13, 2019 Longmont Police investigated a burglary in the 1300 Blk of Martin St. One juvenile male was identified as the suspect and was contacted. He was referred to LCJP for restorative justice.


On November 14, 2019 at approximately 0040 hours Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St. on the report of an armed robbery. Officers collected available information. No suspect was identified.


On Thursday, 11/14/19, a report was taken reference a burglary and theft which occurred in the 1000 Blk. of Kane Dr. The suspects are unknown.


On 11/14/19 at 1317 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male was taken into custody on an activie municipal warrant. The adult male was released on a PR bond with a new return court date. THe case was cleared by arrest.


On Thursday, November 14, 2019 at about 1500 hours, Officers were dispatched a name and number reference a cold sex assault. This case will be forward to the Longmont Detective Unit for additional follow up.


On Thursday, November 14, 2019, Longmont Police Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of Jewel St. Three juvenile males were contacted, and issued summonses for consuming, and being in possession of marijuana.
