Longmont Police Report: November 4, 2019

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont, CO resident in the 600 block of Peck Drive reported a theft from her vehicle. There are no investigative leads.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

Detectives were called to assist Boulder Police and other Boulder County agencies with an Officer Involved Shooting investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, November 4, 2019 at approximately 1146 hours Longmont Police took a report of harassment. This case will be closed as there is insufficient evidence to support criminal charges.

INFORMATION

On Monday, 11/04/19, an officer took a report of potential narcotics violations that are occurring in the 1000 block of Sunset St. There is no suspect information at this time. This case is closed.

MEDICAL ASSIST

On October 21, 2019 Longmont officers responded to the 2300 block of Gay Street on a death investigation. An adult male was found deceased in his bedroom. There were no suspicious circumstances and the coroner deemed the death to be natural causes.

DUI

On November 2, 2019, Longmont Police initiated a traffic stop on a pickup truck that was unable to maintain its lane in the 1600 block of Francis St. An adult male was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs.

BURGLARY

On Sunday, November 3, 2019 officers responded to the 500 block of Mt Evans St in regards to a theft that occurred earlier in the week from a family member. An adult male was contacted and he admitted to stealing the property. All parties agreed to refer this case to LCJP. Case closed referred to LCJP.

WELFARE CHECK

On Sunday, November 3, 2019 Longmont Police responded to the 2400 blk of 9th Ave. A juvenile female was placed on a mental health hold. Case is closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Longmont Police placed a juvenile male on a 72 hour mental health hold.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 11/03/2019, at approximately 2324 hours, officers were dispatched to a possible suspicious incident, in relation to a possible hit and run, in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.

WARRANT ARREST

On 11/4/19, officers responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Ln on a welfare check of an adult female. She was contacted and found to have three outstanding warrants. She was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

MENACING

On 11/04/2019, Longmont Police responded to the 1300 block of Mt. Evans Dr. referencing a cold menacing. Police collected the available information, and no arrests have been made as of the time of this report. The case is open and under further investigation.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Monday, 110419 officers placed a juvenile male on a mental health hold in the 600 block of E. Mountain View Ave.

AUTO THEFT

On Monday, November 04, 2019, Longmont PSTs handled a motor vehicle theft at the 2300 block of Pratt Street.

MENACING

On Monday, November 4, 2019 officers responded to the 100 block of E 5th Ave in regards to a menacing that took place the night before. An adult male claimed another adult male pointed a gun at him. The other male denied the charges and claimed they other male placed him in fear for his life.

TRAFFIC STOP

On November 4, 2019, Longmont Police Officers were patrolling in the area of Martin St and 3rd Ave. Officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the area. The driver, an adult male, was contacted a short distance later and was taken into custody on DUI related charges.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, November 4, 2019, Longmont Police investigated a report of cybercrime in the zero hundered block of James Cir.

DEATH

On November 4, 2019, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Stuart St on a non-responsive party. An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene. This case is closed.

THEFT

On November 4, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 2500 block of 3rd Ave. A report was taken.

DISTURBANCE

On November 4, 2019 at approximately 1838 hours the Longmont Police Department responded to a juvenile male that was out of control and his parent had to restrain him in the 1200 Block of Francis Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. The juvenile was placed on a protective hold.

WELFARE CHECK

On November 4, 2019 at approximately 2047 hours the Longmont Police Department responded to a welfare check. An adult male called the police department stating he was feeling suicidal in the 800 Block of Alpine Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. The male was placed on a protective hold.

WARRANT ARREST

On 11/4/19, an officer responded to the area of 11th Ave/Atwood St on a welfare check of an adult male walking in the middle of the street. The male was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant. He was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.
