Longmont Police Report: October 1

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a theft in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

BURGLARY

On 10-1-18 at 0317 hrs., an unknown person entered an unlocked home in the 800 block of Grant St. and stole food items. The victim believes the family dog scared the suspect away. There are no leads and the matter is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On October 01, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 700 block of South Bowen St. An adult female reported her vehicle was entered last night but nothing was stolen from inside. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On October 01, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 300 block of Main St. An adult female was contacted who reported her vehicle was entered and several items were stolen from inside. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

FRAUD

On October 01, 2018 an identity theft report was received from the 4600 block of Calabria Place. An adult female reported her personal information is being used in an attempt to get loans. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On 10/01/2018, at approximately 1727 hours, an adult male was arrested for an outstanding municipal warrant in the 200 block of Kimbark St. The male was booked and bonded out.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On 04/13/18 at 1036 hrs. a Longmont police officer was assigned a mittimus arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male was sentenced to ten days in jail by the Longmont Municipal Court Judge. The adult male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case was cleared by arrest.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On 06/28/18 at 1402 hrs. a Longmont police officer was assigned a detainer arrest at the Boulder County Court Annex located at 1035 Kimbark St. An adult male was contacted and taken into custody for violating the terms of his probation. The adult male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case was cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On August 22, 2018, Longmont officers contacted an adult male in the 200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. The male had an outstanding Longmont Municipal warrant and was arrested on the warrant. He was later released by the municipal judge. This case is cleared by arrest.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 09/13/18, officers responded on a suicidal subject in the 600 block of E. Mountain View Ave. A juvenile male was placed into protective custody and transferred to the care of Longmont United Hospital.

SHOOTING

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, members of the Longmont Police Department were involved in a shooting at 1250 S. Hover St., Village at the Peaks Mall.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday, 09/24/18 officers took a criminal tampering report in the 600 block of E. Mountain View Ave. The case is under investigation.

ASSAULT

On September 26th, 2018, an officer in the 4900 block of Nelson Road received a report of a physical disturbance. A juvenile male was issued a warning for assault. The case is exceptionally cleared.

THEFT

On September 30, 2018 Longmont police took a theft report from a business in the 2300 block of Main Street. Police have not been able to get in contact with the adult female suspect who was a previous employee. This case is open pending contact with the suspect to issue a summons.

HARASSMENT

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, Longmont police took a report of harassment in the 700 block of Crisman Dr. Two adult females are suspect. Case Open.

DISTURBANCE

On September 30th, 2018 at approximately 1816 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Main Street Longmont, CO. An adult male and female were issued a summons.

DISTURBANCE

On 09/30/2018 at approximately 1930 hours, Longmont police officers responded to a disturbance between in the 1300 block of S. Terry St. An adult male was struck by a juvenile male and the juvenile fled on foot. No suspects were located and the adult did not sustain any injuries. This case is closed due to lack of suspects.

CHILD

On Sunday, September 30, 2018 at about 2149 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Pace Street on a report of a one year-old child found on a playground unattended by an adult. Officers were able to locate the parents. Case closed.

MENACING

On Sunday, September 30, 2018 at about 2357 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Collyer Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers arrested 2 adult males for menacing, active warrants, and other charges. Both males were

transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Monday, 10/01/18 at approximately 0207 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 1600 block of S. Terry St. The residence was checked and no unauthorized parties were inside. Case is closed.

ASSAULT

On Monday, 10/01/18 at approximately 0504 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 200 block of St. Clair Ave. in reference to an assault that occurred there on 09/29/18. A report was taken and charges are pending against a known suspect.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday October 1st, 2018 Longmont police officers were dispatched to a potential protection order violation in the 800 block of Independence Dr. Case is open pending warrant.

BURGLARY

On October 1, 2018 Longmont police were dispatched to a burglary in progress on Marshall Place. Investigation revealed the "burglary" was a civil dispute over property. This case is open pending further investigation to determine if charges are appropriate.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Brighton resident reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 1400 block of Bowen Street.

PROTECTION ORDER

Officers investigated a protection order violation. An arrest warrant was obtained.

WELFARE CHECK

On 10/01/2018 (Monday) at 1537 hours officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Pratt Street on the report of a trespassing situation. Officers arrived and contacted one adult male who was possibly suffering from mental illness or substance abuse issues. The adult male was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, October 1, 2018, at approximately 1805 hours, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. on a theft that had just occurred. Officers were advised that two Hispanic females and one Hispanic male entered the business and grabbed approximately 50 pairs of jeans before running out of the store and jumping into a waiting vehicle. Officers are following up on leads and the case is open.
