Longmont Police Report: October 8, 2018

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a bicycle theft from the 400 block of Emery Street. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday 10/08/18, Longmont Police responded to the 1200 block of S. Hover St. reference a shoplift. A report was taken and the suspect is unknown. The case is closed.

DISTURBANCE

A juvenile female who was previously issued a summons for assault against another, targeted the other girl while at school threatening to "jump" her and threw the victim's clothing around the locker room while the victim was in gym class. The suspect was arrested for retaliation against a victim.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On October 08, 2018, a vehicle trespass report was received from the 100 block of Lois Place. An adult female reported her vehicle was entered and property was stolen from inside. Case is closed.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 10/8/18, a citizen reported finding identifying documents. A report was taken for information purposes.

THEFT

On July 3, 2018, Longmont police took a report of a stolen license plate from the 1300 block of Emery St. No suspect leads at this time. Case closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On September 17, 2018, Longmont police investigated a trespassing in the area of 2nd Ave. and Pratt St. One adult female was contacted and was arrested for an unrelated warrant.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Friday, October 5, 2018, Longmont police located a vehicle in the 4600 block of Redmond Dr. with expired plates. The plates were found to be fictitious. The vehicle was towed and summons was issued. Cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On Sunday, October 7, 2018, at approximately 0205 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on a disturbance an individual who had been pepper sprayed in the area of 2nd Ave., and Main St. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. The case is currently closed due to lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 10-7-18, an unknown person entered an unlocked car in the 2900 block of BowLine Place. There are no leads and the matter is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday October 7th, 2018, Longmont officers were on patrol in the 1900 block of Collyer St. One adult male was taken into custody on warrants. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, October 7, 2018, at approximately 2200 hours, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a domestic violence incident which occurred in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Ln. The suspect was unable to be contacted and a warrant was written for their arrest. The case is open.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On October 7th, 2018 at approximately 2128 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Warren Ave. Longmont, CO in reference to an attempted suicide. An adult female was taken into protective custody.

DRUG VIOLATION

On October 7th, 2018, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Main Street. One adult male driver was contacted and arrested for a prior outstanding warrant, traffic charges and possession of a schedule 1 narcotic. Case cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On Monday October 8, 2018 at approximately 0334 hours, an adult male flagged down officers in the 300 block of Atwood St. Officers determined the male was gravely disabled and taken to Longs Peak Hospital on a mental health hold. Case is closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On 10/08/18, officers responded to the Boulder County Courthouse on a welfare check of a transient party. An adult male was placed on a mental health hold. Case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 10/08/2018, at approximately 1553 hours, Longmont police responded to the area of 1000 Delaware Ave. reference a restraining order violation. One adult female was contacted and arrested without incident for violating a current restraining order. Case cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 10/08/18 at approximately 2056 hrs. an adult female was issued a summons for theft at 250 Kimbark St.
