Longmont Police Report: September 19, 2019

FRAUD An email phishing scam was reported by a local business in the 2100 block of Gay Street. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF A Weld County resident reported criminal mischief in the 2100 block of Highway 119.

FRAUD

An email phishing scam was reported by a local business in the 2100 block of Gay Street.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Weld County resident reported criminal mischief in the 2100 block of Highway 119. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

WARRANT ARREST

On 09/19/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 1900 blk of Main St. reference a male asleep at the wheel of their vehicle. Upon contact, male was found to have a warrant for his arrest. Case cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Thursday, 09-19-2019, Longmont Police investigated a possible restraining order violation that occured in the 4500 blk of Redmond Dr. Upon
investigation, there is no probable cause that a crime occured.

SEX ASSAULT

On Thursday, September 19, 2019 at approximately 1217 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to make a phone call regarding an assault that occured in the 100 block of S Main St. An adult female was contacted. This case is open pending investigation.

THEFT

On Thursday, 09/19/19, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 100 Blk. of Lincoln St. The suspects are unknown.

SEX ASSAULT

On 09/19/2019, the Longmont Police Department was called about a suspected sexual assault on a child in the 1600 block of 15th Ave.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at approximately 2315 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a disturbance at in the 600 block of Peck Dr. One adult male was issued a summons for harassment. The case is cleared by arrest via summons.

ASSAULT

On 9/18/19 LPD responded to the 1500 block of 14th Ave, reference a fight. A juvenile female was issued a summons for assault. The case is
cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On 09/18/2019 (Wednesday) at approximately 1353 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Emery Street on the report of an adult female who was suicidal. Officers and mental health professionals were later able to locate the female and determine she was not a risk to herself.

CHILD

On Wednesday, 9/18/19 Police recieved a complaint of a potential child abuse in the 1400 block of 14th Avenue. After an investigation this case has been unfounded.

VICIOUS DOG

On Wednesday, 09/18/19, an 11 year old boy was walking in the alley at Sumner and Mountain View and a dog in a truck came out and bit him on the leg. The owner of the dog was warned and his dog will be quarantined at its home.

VICIOUS DOG

A tech was bitten at by a client' dog at the vet clinic. The dog was placed under quarantine.

DEATH

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at about 2130 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Gifford Drive on a report of a
possible deceased person. Upon arrival officers found an adult female had passed away from natural causes.

MENACING

On September 18, 2019 at approximately 2138 hours Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd on the report of a shoplift.
An adult male was arrested.

DUI

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Ken Pratt Blvd for speeding. After investigation, the adult male driver was arrested for driving
under the influence. Case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by her own dog while breaking up a dog fight. The dog was placed under quarantine.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont reported theft in the 1000 block of South Hover Street in Longmont, CO. There are no investigative leads or suspect
information at this time.

WELFARE CHECK

On September 19, 2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Martin Rd. on a Welfare Check. An adult male was
placed on a mental health hold.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Thursday, September 19, 2019, at approximately 1600 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2700 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd in reference to a cold criminal mischief. A juvenile male was identified as the suspect and was verbally warned as the victim declined prosecution.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 09/19/2019, Longmont officers responded to the area of Hover Street and Mountain View Avenue on a report of a rolling domestic incident. Officer located the vehicle on the 2500 block of Mountain View Avenue. This is to serve as an informational report.
