On Thursday, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office located Heaven White, a 14-year-old girl who was earlier presumed missing.

White was found alive and unharmed in a home in the 5100 block of Santa Clara Place in Boulder.

Detectives with BCSO served a search warrant at the house and, after finding White, arrested a resident of the home, 51-year-old James Dean.

Dean, who is a non-family member of White, is now facing a Violation of Custody Order, a class four felony charge, as well as Harboring a Minor, a class two misdemeanor.

After White was declared missing early Thursday, detectives from the Boulder County Digital Forensics Lab of BCSO worked throughout the day with members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Boulder County Drug Task Force to locate her.

BCSO is still investigating the case and further details will be added to the story as they are released.
