The City of Longmont will be closed in observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 3. Most city facilities will be closed with the exception of the Longmont Recreation Center and Sunset Pool. The Rec Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunset Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This will be the final day that Sunset Pool will be open for the season.
In addition, there will not be any collection of trash, recycling or compost on Labor Day. This will delay all collection pickups one day for the remainder of the week.
