The City of Longmont is notifying residents of the upcoming mosquito spray schedule. Weather permitting, adulticide fogging is expected to take place Thursday, July 26, during the nighttime hours for 13 Longmont areas.
These areas include:
LM-03 Jim Hamm
LM-09 Mountain View Cemetery
LM-17 The Shores/Concord Way
LM 18 Twin Peaks Circle
LM-22 Sandstone Ranch
LM-23 Longmont, Union Reservoir
LM-27 Great Western / Mill Village
LM-28 St. Vrain Greenway
LM-31 Lefthand Creek at Creekside
LM-34 Longmont Meadowview
LM-41 Stoney Ridge/Alpine Elementary
LM-42 Izaak Walton Park
LM-43 Rough and Ready
According to a press release by the City of Longmont, "the code corresponds to a boundary map that can be seen on the West Nile virus web page."

Preschoolers Invited to Figure Out Whose Tools are These?
The Longmont Public Library invites preschool-aged children to a special series of storytimes.
These storytimes will feature "different community helpers each week, from firemen and firewomen to police detectives to park rangers and public works helpers. These are the folks who keep our city safe, fun, and clean," states the Longmont Public Library press release.
These "community helpers" storytimes will be offered each Tuesday and Wednesday, at 10:15 a.m. and again at 11 a.m., beginning August 1, 2018.
No registration is required.
