The Longmont Economic Development Partnership (EDP) has elected three new directors, and two incumbent directors to two-year terms that will begin in January of 2019.
The new Longmont EDP directors are:
- Bruce Hellbaum, President/CEO, The Rawlins National Bank
- Christina Johnson, CEO, Longmont United Hospital
- Cecil MacGregor, VP of Engineering & Site Lead, Seagate Technologies
Incumbent Directors re-elected to serve another two years on the Longmont EDP Board of Directors are:
- Allison Closson, VP Commercial Banking, Adams Bank & Trust
- Stacy Cornay, Owner & Founder, Communication Concepts Public Relations & Advertising
The Longmont EDP has also elected new Executive Committee appointments for 2019:
- Chair – Stacy Cornay, Owner & Founder, Communication Concepts Public Relations & Advertising
- Vice Chair – Eric Wallace, President & Co-Founder, Left Hand Brewing
- Secretary – Allison Closson, VP Commercial Banking, Adams Bank & Trust
- Treasurer – Bruce Hellbaum, President/CEO, The Rawlins National Bank
- Past Chair – Andy Welch, President, Sun Construction & Facility Services
In-coming Board Chair Stacy Cornay stated, "I am honored to have been elected to serve as Chair of the Longmont Economic Development Partnership. For many years I have worked to support area businesses and the business climate that supports them. It is one of my passions.
The mission of the Longmont EDP is critical to this. The work of the Longmont EDP is amazing and has translated into great success over the past few years. I look forward to participating in new efforts being undertaken, and to working with a great staff and committed Board of Directors."
Missing Person FOUND: Henry F. Cruikshank
Henry F. Cruikshank had been found missing from his Longmont home late in the evening on Nov. 13. Around 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 14, he was found and transported to a local hospital. Learn the details here.
