Literally... movin up 24 steep stairs in fact. On Monday, November 19, the Longmont Observer officially moved from our office in the TinkerMill to our own space at 356 1/2 Main St. Those 24 stairs are worth the climb to have a space to shape into Longmont's newest news hub.

The new office is made up of three individual offices which will be divided up to include an editing office, admin office and a writing room. Additionally, the space includes a small room that will be used for videos and podcasting and a large commons area.

"We are very excited to have an office space of our own on Main Street, in the heart of Longmont. It is wonderful to have an office large enough for our staff to gather, write and share ideas. This space also provides a place for the residents of Longmont to stop by, visit with us and share their news," exclaims Macie May, editor-in-chief.

We invite all of Longmont to stop by and visit. Below are a few pictures of the new office.

Between volunteers traveling to see family and moving into our new office, content will be light this week. We will pick things up again after the holiday. Thank you all for understanding.
