This afternoon the Boulder County Sheriff's Office announced they have found human remains near the 5900 block of Marshall Rd.

An investigation is still ongoing to try to identify the deceased and the Boulder County Coroner's Office will identify and determine cause of death in the coming days.

Officials have been searching for two people who went missing when the Dec. 30 Marshall fire broke out. It is believed that a man was missing from the Marshall Road area.

Investigations are still ongoing for a woman who is believed to be missing from the 1500 block of S. 76th St. in Superior.

Weather has impeded investigations into the cause of the fire, with more snow arriving today. Currently the Boulder County Sheriff's Office has no new updates on the origin of the fire.
