Livestreamed Meet & Greet with the Author of the Cannabis Coloring Book

Longmont Public Media and Native Roots are excited to announce a livestreaming

author meet and greet to premier “The Cannabis Coloring Book” by author Marie Rae

Correa. The event takes place on Saturday, April 22nd from 2-5 PM at Longmont Public Media. The event will be livestreamed on Longmont Public Media’s public access channels 8 and 880 as well as Longmont Public Media’s YouTube channel.

Tickets to the event are free, and people are welcome to just stop by Longmont Public Media on Saturday, April 22nd between 2-5 PM to just check out the action. The event is made possible by Native Roots who will also be hosting a Cannabis Coloring Book event at their dispensary afterwards. Donation opportunities will be available at the event to help support Longmont Public Media and to keep events like these going. Longmont Recreation Services is hosting a job fair to fill a variety of positions in 2023. Join us in the lobby of the Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road on Sunday, April 23 from 11 am - 12:30 pm to learn about the jobs available. Positions are available for ages 15+.

This Job Fair provides an opportunity to talk to staff members about what it is like to work in Recreation Services and have your questions answered about various jobs, even for summer-only positions! Leave the job fair knowing what the next steps are for a job with Longmont Recreation & Golf. Positions available include babysitters, climbing wall attendants, fitness instructors, front desk staff, lifeguards, pool managers, preschool sports instructors, sports officials, swim instructors, and more.

The clinic is open to the public for anyone interested in learning the basics or ins and outs of their tractor. 4Rivers Equipment will match donations received up to $2,500.

Come join the Longs Peak Barbershop Chorus as we present our annual spring show, as we celebrate the joys of vocal music, as we join students from the St Vrain school district and as we Celebrate our 75th anniversary as members of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

We will be presenting our annual spring show on May 5 and May 6. We will be performing at Niwot High School and will be joined by students from the St Vrain School District. Our guest quartet, Artistic License, will be sharing the stage with the Longs Peak Chorus and students from the St Vrain School District. Artistic License will also be working with St Vrain students during the day on Friday.
