Living Room Conversations: Climate of Unity

  • Date: 03/15/2023 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Location: Library
    409 Fourth Ave.
  • Topic: Climate of Unity
  • No registration required
  • For those 16 and older

We all want to live in a healthy environment, yet most of us make compromises to enjoy the benefits of modern society. And some forms of pollution we have more control over than others. How much influence do residents have over the quality of the environment they live in? Is keeping our environment healthy good or bad for the economy? What is our role in protecting the environment?

About Living Room Conversations

In small groups of four to six people, participants agree to the conversational guidelines to keep the environment positive and productive. Question guides help foster discussion and prompt participants to explore their personal experiences around the given topic. This guide was created in collaboration with In This Together, a collection of Democrats, Republicans and independents working together on environmental protection and energy innovation.
