Police are looking for the suspect in an early morning shooting Saturday in downtown Longmont.

An officer was dispatched about 2:05 a.m. Saturday to 3’s Bar in the 300 block of Main Street on reports of a shooting. A person told the officer that they heard five gunshots and people screaming, said police spokeswoman Robin Ericson.

Officers spoke with several people who stated they did not see the shooting but witnessed a dark gray SUV leave the area at a high speed. Another patron said they witnessed a gray truck flee north on Main St at a high rate of speed, Ericson said.

Police found three spent cartridges in the alley. The spent cartridges were collected and logged into property and evidence, Ericson said. The suspect and victim have yet to be identified.
