The city of Longmont announced that Pratt Street will be closed on Friday.
A tree will be removed in the area between Ninth and Tenth avenues with the assistance of a crane.
Work will begin around 8 a.m. and end around 2 p.m.
The tree removal will also close the sidewalk.
